Bundaberg Easts Magpies Juniors and Seniors get a helping hand from the CQ NRL Bid

CQ NRL Bid today continued the dispersal of funds from the CQ NRL Bid Flood Fund, announcing a donation of $5000 to the Bundaberg Easts Magpies Junior and Senior Rugby League Clubs. QR National have been instrumental in the rollout of the donations to disaffected rugby league clubs in Central Queensland, contributing $50,000 to the Fund set up by the CQ NRL Bid.

CQ NRL Bid CEO, Denis Keeffe today presented the Bundaberg Easts Junior and Senior Rugby League Clubs with a cheque for $5000 to assist with the replacement of training equipment lost in the floods. The money will also be used by the clubs to help with the cost of restoration for the playing field and club facilities.

The CQ NRL Bid, along with QR National has already distributed over $20,000 to rugby league clubs across Central Queensland that have been disaffected by the floods. The rollout of funds from the CQ NRL Bid Flood Fund will continue next week when the CQ NRL Bid will turn their attention to the Rockhampton Junior Rugby League Clubs, many of whom took a battering during the floods.
