Theodore Juniors Receive Boost From CQ NRL Bid Flood Fund

CQ NRL Bid today began the dispersal of funds from the CQ NRL Bid Flood Fund, announcing a donation of $5000 to the Theodore Roosters JRLFC. QR National were instrumental in the rollout of the donations to disaffected rugby league clubs in Central Queensland, contributing $50,000 to the Fund.
CQ NRL Bid Chairman, Geoff Murphy and QR National’s Tony Lucas today presented Theodore Roosters JRLFC with a cheque for $5000 to assist with the rebuilding of the clubhouse and to replace equipment lost in the devastating floods.
The rollout of funds from the CQ NRL Bid Flood Fund will continue on Friday night in Emerald when Geoff Murphy will present a cheque for $10,000 to the McIndoe Park Facilites, an organisation representing the four rugby league clubs in Emerald.
