CQ NRL Bid Updates Local Rockhampton Business

The CQ NRL Bid last night held a Corporate Re-Launch at the CQ Leagues Club to update Rockhampton businesses on the progress of the Bid.  A strong crowd of 80 local business representatives listened to the update from Chairman of the CQ NRL Bid Geoff Murphy and CQ NRL Bid CEO Denis Keeffe. Guest Speaker for the night was Executive Officer of Regional Development Australia for Fitzroy and Central West regions, Rees Banks. Rees Banks highlighted the enormous economic benefits to the Central Queensland region.

Former Origin star Mark Hohn was a suprise guest at the Launch and was inspired by the words of Geoff Murphy and Denis Keeffe. “I can see the passion here tonight and I believe in what the CQ NRL Bid is doing is great. That is why I will be signing up as a member and for a Corporate Partnership before I leave tonight”

Hohn’s business TJS Services, specialises in providing an array of services to the hospitality, commercial, retail and fitness industries and will be expanding into the Central Queensland market soon. Hohn also lamented the fact that the CQ NRL Bid was not getting the coverage it deserved in the Southern media: “Being based down south, I would love to read and hear more about the CQ NRL Bid because it is clear from what I have seen tonight that this is a serious Bid.”

The CQ NRL Bid now has over 120 Corporate Partners that have pledged their support to the Bid and the number is growing daily. If you are interested in becoming a Corporate Partner you can sign up online at www.cqnrlbid.com.au or call the CQ NRL Bid Office on 07 49227003.
